Bookings with Kirsty’s Paws can be confirmed by telephone or email. At the point of booking you will be asked a number of questions, including if your Dog is vaccinated, it is important you answer these questions accurately and have your Dog’s vaccination record to show at the initial consultation. Kirsty’s Paws must be informed of any signs of aggression or reactivity that your Dog has displayed, prior to training together, any session may be cut short if your Dog displays previously undisclosed signs of reactivity or aggression.

Payment must be provided prior to your appointment. I accept payment by BACS, or cash.

“No shows” or appointments cancelled by the client with less than 48 hours notice will still be charged and counted as one session. If Kirsty’s Paws has to cancel an appointment you will be offered an alternative appointment or receive a refund. You will NOT be charged if you have to cancel a session because you or any member of your household develops any symptoms of coronavirus. You must inform me if you or any of your household have symptoms of coronavirus.

Kirsty’s Paws will work directly with you and and your Dog(s) using kind, ethical and effective training methods, behaviour changes are never instant and take long-term commitment.

Any packages or programmes must be used within the specified time frame. One to one sessions that are not used within a three month time frame will be forfeited and are non-refundable. Classes that are missed cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Equipment that can cause stress or pain to a Dog is not allowed to be used, this includes choke chains, slip leads, spray collars etc.

Kirsty’s Paws will apply personal judgement and cut short a training session, if necessary, because of the Dog’s ability to cope, as well as extreme weather conditions; including, but not limited to: excessive heat, torrential rain, thunder storms and snow/ice. The decision to do so lays with the judgment of Kirsty’s Paws for the safety of you and your Dog(s). In such circumstances the appointment be rescheduled.

You remain responsible for your Dog(s) at all times and it is advised that you have adequate insurance cover for liability in the event of damage or injury caused by your Dog to a third party or property.

It is your responsibility to make sure that your Dog(s) is kept under control at all times, including when Kirsty is entering your home, or when you attend a class. Failure to do so and any injury caused by your Dog(s) being out of control will be your responsibility.
